Park Terrace Celebrates the Artistic Talents of Residents and Community Members

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, Calif. –Park Terrace is a community in motion, embracing an active aging lifestyle that encourages residents to be engaged cognitively, socially and physically. Rancho Santa Margarita, CA – In honor of National Active Aging Week, Park Terrace is hosting an Art Exhibit on September 20 and 21 to celebrate the many artistic gifts of residents. Several local artists will also participate, exhibiting their work or providing a demonstration of their craft.

Community artists are encouraged to participate. Artwork may include paintings, sculpture, needlework, photography, jewelry, pottery, quilting and any other artistic endeavors. Artists are encouraged to talk about what inspires them to create and how others can learn more about the craft.

“Our residents are marvelously talented individuals,” shares Rick Lansford, Executive Director of Park Terrace Senior Living Community. “They are eager to live life to the fullest, to explore new activities and to continue to develop new skills.”

The Art Exhibit, entitled “The Art of Living Well” will be held on Sunday, September 20 between 2:00-4:00 p.m. and Monday, September 21 between 12:00 noon-3:00 p.m. at Park Terrace located at 21952 Buena Suerte in Rancho Santa Margarita.
