Andrew (Andy) S. Kohlberg
President and Chief Executive Officer

As the Founder, President and CEO of Kisco Senior Living, LLC. Andy Kohlberg provides strategic planning and direction for property operations and management as well as sourcing and executing acquisitions including the placement of equity and debt financing. Through his timely purchase of well-located retirement properties, he continues to build Kisco's core portfolio of assets including 18 communities in five states with over $115 million in annual revenue and over 1300 associates.

In an effort to create inviting environments for residents, their families and friends he personally conducts focus groups with residents and associates to improve resident satisfaction.

Andy is an active member of the American Senior Housing Association (ASHA), California Assisted Living Association (CALA), and the San Diego Chapter of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). In 2002, the Seniors Housing Council awarded Andy the SAGE Person of the Year for his commitment to seniors housing. In 2003, he accepted the Icon Award in the Service Enriched Builder/Developer category from the National Association of Home Builders.

Mitchell (Mitch) K. Brown
Chief Development Officer

Mitch Brown manages Kisco Development LLC, the development arm for Kisco Senior Living. He serves on the company's senior leadership team with a focus on strategic planning and asset management. During the past 13 years, Kisco Development has completed over $300 million in new additions to Kisco's portfolio. These properties include new senior living campuses with independent, congregate and assisted living ranging from 160 to over 300 units as well as age-qualified apartment communities up to 265 units. Mitch also oversees major renovations and capital improvements to Kisco's existing portfolio.

Mitch is Chair of the Urban Land Institute's Senior Housing Council as well as a member of the NAHB 50+ Housing Council. He has contributed articles to Senior Housing News, Multi-Housing News and has been a speaker at several national conferences.

Terri Novak
Chief Operating Officer

Terri Novak is responsible for providing support, guidance and direction in the management of the Kisco's seniors' communities including continuum of care campuses (CCRC), assisted living and specialized memory care dementia. She oversees the day-to-day operations of all 18 communities and associates. She also develops and refines various programs to monitor and improve all aspects of customer satisfaction for community residents and their families, as well as those of Kisco associates.

In addition to her degrees in Health Care Administration, Human Resource Management and Business Administration Terri is a certified California Awards for Performance Excellence (CAPE) Examiner which provides expertise in achieving world-class results through the criteria of the Baldrige National Quality Program.

Kimberly Hynek
Chief Financial Officer

Kimberly Hynek facilitates Kisco's relationships with lenders and investors, assisting with development of capital investors, analysis and pro forma modeling of acquisition and development opportunities. In addition, she provides oversight of information systems, finance, and risk and serves as a member of the senior leadership team. She is responsible for the financial management of the entire Kisco portfolio.

Kimberly has over 20 years experience in the senior living industry with more than 15 of those years focused in leadership positions with Marketing, Human Resources, Accounting, and Finance. As the recipient of the AAHSA-Ziegler Senior Fellowship Award, Kimberly attended an executive leadership program in strategic management systems at Harvard University's Executive School of Management. She is also a certified California Awards for Performance Excellence (CAPE) Examiner.
